Stacy Taliancich (Mary Bland) Stacy is very happy to be working with ACT once again after playing Mary Malone in Zombies from the Beyond. Stacy holds a BFA with Honors in Theater Performance and Design and Technology from the University of Southern Mississippi. She was last seen in Grease at Le Petit Theatre, and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and Kiddie Cabaret at True Brew. Here in New Orleans, She divides her time in theater among acting and costume/mask design. Her costume credits include Who Kidnapped Mother Goose?, A Winter’s Tale, Pinnochio, and The Wizard of Oz. Her acting credits include Laura in Laura Dennis, Whitney in A Piece of My Heart, Bobbi Michelle in The Last of the Red Lovers, Chanteuse Rosé in A…My Name is Alice, and Lena in The Rimers of Eldritch, which went on to perform at Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. as part of the American College Theatre Festival. Stacy has appeared in musical productions in North Georgia with the Appalachian Educational and Historical Society and Southern Appalachian Stages. She is also a company member of Porta-Puppet Players here in New Orleans and the drama director at St. Philip Neri School. She would like to thank her parents for their continuing support. |

Michael Sullivan (Paul Bland) Michael has been seen on various stages around New Orleans. Other musical roles include Charlie Brown in Snoopy at StarCastle Dinner Theatre, Mr. MacLaren in Brigadoon at StarCastle Dinner Theatre, Sonny in City of Angels at LePetit, Gladhand in The West Side Story at Rivertown, Judge Wilson in 1776 at Rivertown, The Heavenly Friend in Carousel at Loyola University, Mr. Kringlein and Pastey in Gypsy at Tulane Summer Lyric Theatre, Jean-Claude in Phantom at Tulane Summer Lyric Theatre, and Labisse in Victor/Victoria at Tulane Summer Lyric Theatre. Favorite roles include Camille Chandel in A Flea in Her Ear at StarCastle Dinner Theatre, M. Martin in Hotel Paradiso at Rivertown, Arnold in The Boys Next Door for Chase Waites Productions, Friar Lawerence in Romeo and Juliet at U.N.O., Duncan in Macbeth for Mikko Presents, and Father McPorter in both of SandiRoads long-running hits The Queen of Bingo and Joey and Mary’s Irish/Italian Wedding. |
| Nathan Homb (Raoul) Nathan received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Millikin University. Favorite roles include the Leading Player, from Pippin, Bill Sikes in Oliver, and most recently, Vittorio Vidal in the JPAS production of Sweet Charity. Additionally, Nathan spent two summers as a resident company member at Music Theatre of Wichita, where he performed in shows such as Evita, Rags, Funny Girl, and Singin’ in the Rain. The Ensemble (alphabetically)
Alex Caire (Lenny/Chicken/Elvis/Hitler/Chorus) (Stage Manager) Alex has worked the technical side of all prior productions for ACT, managing crew, props, or as stage manager. A recent Jesuit graduate, he appeared last spring in their production of Chess. He also performed in chorus in Jesus Christ Superstar at JPAS. Among Alex’s mottos is “No prop or set piece is too outlandish to be tried if the audience will react.”
Douglas Caire (James/Basketball Player/Chorus) Douglas is a second year Theatre major at Loyola University of New Orleans. He recently worked on Lysistrata at Loyola and has had a wonderful time working with the cast. He would like to thank his family-ALL of it-and he would like to send the message BANGARANG to all mankind.
Joy Chun (Sexpert/Raoulette/Chorus) Joy has been involved in local theater for 10 years, most recently performing in The Merry Widow at JPAS and The Mikado at Tulane Summer Lyric. She is happy to be at the True Brew and would like to express her “Hot Monkey Love” for all of the cast and for Butch, Gwen, and Ms. Konni.
Jimmy deMontluzin (Mr. Kray/Baby Junior/Leash-Boy/Chorus) Jimmy has been very busy on the production end of ACT’s presentations of The Sinatra Supper Club, The Fantasticks and Zombies from the Beyond. His most recent local stage appearances have been in Oliver, Sweet Charity, and Jesus Christ Superstar, all at JPAS. Jimmy and Butch Caire have been collaborating together in comedy since the age of 10, and Jimmy spent many hours over many years in the Principal’s Office (…but the laughs were worth it…). He would like to thank his wife and family for their support, to Butch, Gwen and Konni for their friendship, and to Dennis Assaf and the JPAS gang for reintroducing into his life the joy of entertaining others in live theater.
Michelle deMontluzin (Metermaid/Chorus) Michelle is making her ACT stage debut with Eating Raoul. Her previous “backstage” work include Jesus Christ Superstar, Into the Woods, and Once Upon a Mattress, all at Mt. Carmel Academy’s STK Theater, and the recent ACT productions of The Fantasticks and Zombies from the Beyond, in which she worked with such fabulous people as “Uncle” Wayne Daigrepont, Stocker Fontelieu, & Becky Allen. Michelle would like to thank her dad for his undying support, Butch Caire for an incredible opportunity, her family and friends for their support, and especially Alex who’s been there through it all.
Julius Dietze (Dr Doberman/Donna’s Boy/Ginger/Chorus) Julius began playing character roles with Riverdale/East Jefferson High School’s My Fair Lady and including roles at LSU and Baton Rouge Little Theater. He also appeared in several SLU productions including A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum. He’s performed with the Columbia Players of Hammond as Daddy Brubeck in Sweet Charity and Bellomy in The Fantasticks. Over the last several years he’s been a part of many JPAS opera and musical theater productions, including his portrayal of Sergeant of Police in the Pirates of Penzance, and also in their productions of Jesus Christ Superstar, Sweet Charity and The Merry Widow. His first nonmusical role was Montfleury in Cyrano de Bergerac, presented as a part of the 2003 Francophane Theater Festival. Julius is making his ACT debut as Ginger in this production of Eating Raoul.
Lark Marie Fall (Yolanda/Chorus) Lark Marie, a New Orleans native, debuted on stage in The Mikado with Cimarron Circuit Opera in Norman, Oklahoma. She has also appeared in several local productions over the last few years, including Annie Get Your Gun, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Oliver, all with JPAS, Guys and Dolls at Tulane Summer Lyric, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Atonement, and Opera Scenes at UNO. Lark’s motto “I love show business”!!!
Jonathan Mares (Mr. Leech/Donna’s Boy/Chorus) Jonathan is a 2004 graduate of Jesuit High School where he performed in ten productions all under the direction of Chase Waites. Most recently at Jesuit he appeared as Bob Ewell in To Kill A Mockingbird and as Molokov in Chess. Jon has also appeared in several JPAS productions including Les Miserables where he portrayed Jean Valjean. Jon would like to send out a special thanks to his voice teacher Nancy Ross, to his friends, and to his parents for supporting him in all his endeavors.
Konni Albert Sardi (Donna/Choreographer) This is “Ms Konni’s” fourth show as choreographer for Artists’ Cooperative Theater, with previous stellar work in Zombies From the Beyond, The Fantasticks and The Sinatra Supper Club. A New Orleans-born performer and Kenner resident for 20 years, Konni has been seen on many stages including the Beverly Dinner Playhouse, Gallery Circle Theatre, LaMise EnScene Theatre, and Repertory Theatre and has performed with celebrities including Johnny Carson, Al Hirt, Peter Gennaro, Bobby Vinton, Pete Fountain, Kathy Lee Crosby, Shari Lewis, Becky Allen, and with the international performance group UpWith People. Her theatrical background includes Cabaret, Sweet Charity, Carousel, South Pacific, Dames at Sea, Happy Times, and more. She has danced on several musical television commercials and choreographed several musical comedy theatrical productions. She has served on the faculty of many dance studios and studied dance in New York and California. She was a featured artist in the New Orleans Ballet Foundation. Konni also owned and operated “Konni’s Koncepts in Dance” and was artistic director and choreographer for the Konni Albert Sardi Performing Arts Company which was featured by many Carnival organizations and other venues throughout the South. She is also currently a fitness consultant at Curves for Women in Kenner. We are so thrilled to finally have Ms Konni’s talents joining the cast “on stage” for this production.
Bob Scully (Howard/Bobby/Chorus) Bob was recently seen here at the True Brew as Mitch in The Glass Mendacity and as McMurphy in One Flew Over The Cukoo’s Nest. At Le Chat Noir, he played Monk in Tennessee Williams’ Small Craft Warning and other various roles there in the Shakespeare on Trial series. He was also seen as Father Walsh in The Lonesome West at the CAC.
Ashley Thompson (Sexpert/Raoulette/Chorus) Ashley is happy to be working with her good friend Butch in this production of Eating Raoul. Ashley is currently seeking out a BSN at LSU Health Science Center School of Nursing. Still finding some time to shake her maracas on stage, Ashley’s recent credits include Crazy for You at Rivertown, Cabaret and Sweet Charity, both at JPAS…to name a few. Ashley would like to extend a big thanks to Butch, Gwen, and Ms. Konni for the never-ending supply of wine.
Thom D Behr (Makeup/Hair/Wigs) Thom grew up an Army brat and claims the entire Southeast as home. His military family upbringing has him ready for just about any task thrown his way. Competing in National Figure Skating competitions as a teen prepared him quite well for the hard work involved in stage productions. He landed an understudy role in the Broadway production of Shennandoah, and it was enough to infect him with the theater bug for life. He went on to do numerous musical and non-musical roles including singing with the N.Y.C., New Orleans and Orlando G.A.L.A. choruses for nearly 2 decades. Thom is an accomplished hair and makeup artist having lent his talents to the ‘Sally Jesse Raphael Show’ for 7 make over episodes. Besides lending his hair and makeup talents in his first ACT production, Thom also assists in singing in the off stage choruses. When asked how he’s enjoying the experience, he simply smiles and says, “I wouldn’t miss EATING RAOUL for the world.”…. |
